Heute beginnt die Zeit des Advent,
das erste Lichtlein brennt.
Wo brennt es, am Adventskranz nur?
Dann ist das Licht Verschwendung pur.
Leuchten will es vor allem im Herzen,
dann ist es mehr als nur Licht der Kerzen.
Es wird zum hellen Hoffnungsschimmer,
dass die Liebe lebendig ist für immer.
