        • Unfortunately many of the Indian breeds are headed for extinction. I find it disturbing that you have more breeders of modern or well known breeds with in India than the native breeds. We at Intimidator Molossers are proud to be Importing 2 Pairs of Kumaoni Mastiffs, 2 pairs of Gull Terrs and 2 Pairs of the Indian Boarhound. I am fortunate to have family who have worked hard to keep these dogs around.
          • Hi!! Recently I was reading the book of Jim Corbet named the man eaters of Rudrapanyag and he mention the black shepher dogs of the hymalayan mountains, that are used near the Kumanon privince in India. It was not a tale, was a real history, i hope some of you guys if interested, take a look at this book. Warm regards
            • Yes those dogs are still employed by the people of Kumao, I had the pleasure of seeing some. Unforutnately many of them have been crossed breed with non native dogs like the collie.
              • My dad once saw a indian bull terrier in a circus the dog was treated better than the lions were. My dad said that if the lion decided to attack the dog the lion would have to give up his life trying. Well obviously the lion coulda killed the dog but my dad was just explaining how powerful this dog looked.
