Someone who helps out in the presa rescue recently added 3 English Bulldogs to her household over the weekend. Previous family could no longer afford them- had to move into an apartment also. I found that the Caucasian Ovcharkas we have raised came into their temp between 8 and 12 months.  There are some variations of course but for the most part you know by 12 months if they will be a good guard dog.

  dragged him all around until he knew that he couldnt fool me around anymore Yes indeed. I have done that with 6 COs and it worked great. Do it when they are pups because you wont be able to drag the adult around. 

I am sceptical about these sort of things and it concerns me that dog owners may use this sort of thing to excuse bad behaviours from their dogs.Just my humble opinion .
