Chinese Bulldog
The Chinese Bulldog was developed by crossing Chow Chows with Pit Bull Terriers. This is primarily a fighting dog, but can make an excellent property guardian as well. It is very aggressive and needs responsible handling. The body is strong, wide-chested and squarely built, with a curled spitz tail. The head is massive, short-muzzled and with powerful jaws and erect ears.
The Chinese Bulldog has a dense, medium-length coat, most commonly uniform fawn, brown, black and brindle in colour, but some specimens have white markings. Average height is around 20 inches.
