Haitian Bulldog
The Haitian Bulldog was developed by crossing local working dogs with French Mastiffs in the 1700's and later American Pit Bulls in the first half of the 20th century. This rare breed is an excellent livestock dog and property protector, but it's also no stranger to the fighting pits. Quite massive and athletic, the Haitian Bulldog is capable of overpowering a human within seconds, which is why most of these dogs spend their entire lives chained up when not working.
The short flat coat is common in any colour, but black puppies are destroyed. Average height is around 24 inches.
