Renascence Bulldogge

By crossing his American Bulldogs with Bullmastiffs, English Bulldogs, Bandogges and Hermes Bulldogges in the last decade of the 20th century, Chadde JoliCoeur attempted to re-create the legendary working British Bulldogge breed of the 1800's. Although the use of Rottweilers has been suggested, it hasn't been confirmed. The Renascence Bulldogge is bred to a consistent standard and is slowly gaining popularity, but presently remains rare and fairly unknown. With the help of a fellow bully enthusiast named Jody Willingham, Chadde JoliCoeur formed the Renascence Bulldogge Kennel Club, which has strict breeding laws and is dedicated to ensuring proper promotion and bright future of the breed. This handsome bully is slowly gaining popularity and the number of breeders in America is growing.

Very protective and territorial, the Renascence Bulldogge makes an excellent property guardian and personal protection dog. It is playful and friendly with familiar people, but can be reserved with strangers. Athletic, intelligent and healthy, this powerful Molosser enjoys an active lifestyle and is easy to train. The Renascence Bulldogge is muscular, strongly-boned and nicely proportioned, having a large head with powerful jaws and a massive neck and body. Although a docked tail is preferred, those left in their natural state are also accepted.

The coat is short, flat and smooth, coming in a range of typical bully colors, from white to fawn to black, with or without brindling and tan or white markings.

Average height is around 20 inches.
