This working dog was developed in the Sargodha region from the Pakistani Bully Kutta and the Indian Sindh Mastiff, although some lighter hunting breeds are said to had been influential in its establishment initially as well. Used as a large game hunting dog, as well as for fighting duties and the ever-popular "sport" of bear-baiting, the Sargodha Bulldog is reportedly very aggressive and difficult to handle. It makes a capable property guardian, but isn't suited for an urban companion.

Large and powerful, the Sargodha Bully has a short coat, preferred in white, but common in all colours. Average height is around 30 inches.
