Best age to bring new Rottie puppy home??

When taking a pup, I like to get 1 at 7 weeks, or wait till 13 weeks. 8-12 is a huge FIP, and if you travel a long distance with a pup of that age, you could ""ruin"" it due to the amount of stress.

I know for the secure of the puppy they can travel AFTER having 8 weeks old and if is a very long trip I can recomend 15 days more.
