Big pit at serious work
That's a nice dog. I love the lightning quick rebite when the decoy slipped one sleeve. No hesitation.
The guy who posted that video is Lucas Polanski (Lucask9.com) from Poland. However, I've seen this video before and I believe that this dog was being utilized by Russian special forces, but I could be mistaken. I don't know anything about the specific dog as far as bloodlines, etc.

Why would Spetznatz need a dog? I think you mean Military Police or some po-dunk Police dept in Russia. Spec Ops in any country have no need for dogs. All love!!! -

I'm sure he meant Russian Police Special Forces, meaning their SWAT units, not Spetsnaz. ;) -

Special Operations in most countries including the United States do have a need for dogs and do use them in the military. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MBzq-qTwNLU -

No SF organizations really don't. The only dog of worth in the military for operations is bomb sniffers. I am talking tactical not police. There is no "special police",cops are cops are cops. The bomb sniffers are of any breed but a lot tend to be labs and mutts. The rest are dutch/gsd/mals. Dogs aren't needed for special tactical operations because they aren't feasible; there is no crowd control going on, cops do that, they aren't arresting non-compliant citizens, cops do that, and they generally kick in doors to capture or kill targets, none of which a dog is of any worth. But dogs are used on combat patrols when they can be had for thier ability to sniff out IED's and other munitions. Not because they are attack trained, attack trained dogs vs automatic rifles is as laughable as bringing a knife to a firefight. I am not trying to attack anyone just trying to take certain misconceptions out of the picture. Attack trained dogs are used by law enforcement types, not tactical operations in any military. But bomb sniffers are used, there aren't many and the concept has just been introduced at the latter end of the Iraq campaign. The majority are with Line Combat units not the SF as the SF doesn't do movement to contact tramping around through "The Shit" for 8 to 15 hours a day or more. Line Infantry, Armor, and Artillery (The Trifecta) do that, oh and our Engineer branch brothers. That isn't Special Operations. -

The über-SWAT Special Police (basically commando/storm trooper fusion types) are the norm in the eastern block. ;) -
