    • Hello, hello!!

I'm on a road trip and I've been on the road for almost five weeks with Alphonse!!

      He has been to:

The white house (SECRET SERVICE SAID THEY LOVE MY DOG)

The Freedom Trail in Boston + Ferry Ride

      The Atlantic City Boardwalk

      Downtown Philly

NEW YORK CITY, Central Park, China Town, 9/11 Memorial, WATCHED A MOVIE ON THE SAND AT CONEY ISLAND

      A Bar in Cleveland

      The Grave of Walt Whitman

      Everywhere in Maine

WHALE WATCHING IN CANADA AND THE CAPTAIN LOVED MY DOG

Mount Royale and All of Montreal

Toronto and A Ferry to the Toronto Islands

WE STAYED IN THE LUXOR IN LAS VEGAS

      Chaco Canyon

Hiked The Rim of The Grand Canyon

      WATCHED THE ECLIPSE IN YELLOWSTONE

      Niagra Falls

Custer State Park + Watching Bison Do Battle

Los Angeles, The Walk of Stars, Watts Towers, Compton, a Bar that my favorite author loved on Skid Row.

San Diego + a look at California Sea Lions

MOST IMPRESSIVE TO ME: TIJUANA MEXICO!! + A TINY MEXICAN CAB AND ESCORTING ME AFTER DARK.

BORDER PATROL SAID THEY LOVE MY DOG!!

I have pictures of him in almost all of these places. Some he liked more than others.

He has slept in a tent, the car, motel rooms, and one luxury hotel in LAS VEGAS !

He is on duty observing our surroundings at all times and keeping me safe. He is my best friend in the whole world !!

      • That is wayy cool, I wish I could travel like that, it always seems like a lot of fun but then I have to get home again, because I get burnt out too fast. I really love my dogs as well, and really appreciate her very guarded behavior. it makes me feel safe and comfortable.!

        • I get very tired some days--I should slow down!!

Someone could shoot Alphonse, but I think the average drifter/criminal would rather not bother and go for a more low-hanging fruit. I appreciate that his eyes are always peeled, because mine often are not. He is my best friend. It is very shocking to people all over North America when he is sitting quietly while I tell them that he can and will bite.

          • Here he is today in Death Valley! It was 115 degrees! He was in the air conditioned car the ENTIRE time, except when those pictures were taken.

Sidebar: Someone called 911 yesterday while he was sitting in my car. The car was running, the air conditioner was blasting, and there was a sign in my window with my name and number saying I am close by, call with any questions, and leave him alone because he bites. I think people just like to call 911 for the drama. Nothing happened, I just couldn't believe the lack of observation skills.

            • Mine went on their usual dog park adventures today XD they both are great travel companions, suprising for the size of my Gampr

              • I know! Alphonse is about 145 pounds, but I wish he would gain 10 or 15 he's very slender. But i have a very tiny jeep and he's a very good sport
