Home-prepared dog and cat diets by Patricia A. Schenck
Excellent book! Not raw diets, but home prepared with correct profiles for various life stages, performance and disease state support.
My only correction (which was a mistake, I asked the author) is the stating that CaCO3 is baking soda. It is not. There are reasons for adding NaHCO3 to a diet, but not as a source of Calcium. It is only mentioned once, and is not used incorrectly in the diets.
