How many CAOs....?
Meriam, I do not know of such statistics but it would be a great thing to have on the CAO and others. It may be a project I am willing to take on later. The CAO world is very divided and so the validity of that stats would probably be questioned. If you find such data please let us know.

Do anybody have an idea how many CAOs there is registered - for example some statistics from different countries? Statistics over the registered tells not everything, I know since of my three purebred dogs, just one is registered here in Finland and the other twos papers have somehow been disappeared on the way. They both happens to be imported dogs, which been neutered in early age and with it loosed breeding value... And I suppose that I am not the only one with purebred dogs without papers. But I am curious.. -

This much I do know, that in here in Finland we do have 435 CAOs registered in the Finnish Kennel Club. In Sweden there should be 124 CAOs registered in their National Kennel Club and in Denmark 60 CAOs registered. As said, I know there to be several pure breed CAOs unregistered in these countries as like my two are. How many, we will never know. But would be interesting to collect the information of these dogs from so many countries as possible to make some kind of picture how many there could be... In Finland 435 In Sweden 124 In Denmark 60 Kind regards from chilly Finland Meriam
