Talk To Me About The Cimarron Uruguayo
Hi Monica,
so have you read our profile about the breed yet? If not, that is a good place to start and we can discuss from there.
By the way, do you see the resemblance with the Cao da Fila da Sao Miguel "Azores Cattle Dog"?

Gary,
I just read the breed profile on them. I guess I should've done a search! LOL!! Now, I am really intrigued & would love to hear from someone who has met them before. I'm thinking I may get one in a few years, it's looking like I may have to import from Uruguay since I haven't located any US breeders (maybe for the best...LOL).

If anyone knows of a reputable breeder of these dogs, please let me know!!! The more I research the more I want one. I tried contacting a breeder in Uruguay but haven't gotten a response yet. So if you know of any that are willing to work with someone in the USA to import a dog...let me know! :-)

The Cimarron is a fascinating breed — rustic, loyal, and incredibly capable when properly trained. They’re not for first-time dog owners, but in the right hands they shine. While browsing some gear sites, I saw a note about Birch Lane https://birch-lane.pissedconsumer.com/customer-service.html and their heavy-duty outdoor furniture, which oddly reminded me of how sturdy and utilitarian this breed is compared to showier dogs. If you value durability and work ethic, the Cimarron really stands out. Be sure to connect with owners who can share firsthand experience.
