When is a dog fat and when is he skinny ?
Your dog looks to be in great shape. Don't worry about what the uninformed say about being to skinny.

You must be able to feel the ribs but you must not see them

alot of people tell me that my dog is to skinny, but i always heard it's better to keep them on the skinny side when they are young for the hips, elbows and other joints.

I agree, better too skinny than too fat.

A modern dog that lives in an house and has no real job should not be fat. I like to think that you should see some rib, but when the spine is visible / sticking out you take it to far.

her spine is not sticking out but her ribs are visible. To me she looks atlethic...
Today i had yet another comment, that she was to skinny.

Well, if you like it that was and she ain't begging for food every moment (or is obvious hungry or scavenging) then who cares what people say.

Don't worry about what others say and Know that you are doing what is best for your animal. Any extra weight can not only damage your dogs joints but take away from the years that it will live.
