It is long thought that mixes are more viable and better longevity than purebreds. One of my COs lived to 15.5 before I put him down as his quality of life was not good.

  Wow, long time friendship - had my female Alaskan Malamute (mother of cross breeds) live for ~ 13 years: watched her pass away before me. 😪

I have a male Presa that is 11 years old. The black mask is gray now. He has lost weight. But he still thinks he must protect us and the property. An awesome dog that came from Serbia.
