I finally got to meet them :)

Gee, that's very patient of you :)) Waiting till 2013 for a pup? Is this an established breeder? Or just starting out?

    • I did not know what to expect from meeting the dogs. I have been around a Presa, a few Cane Corsos and other large breeds. These dogs are very unique, maybe it was this pair of dogs, but they were very unique in their behavior. The male was very playful but he wasn't bouncing off the walls, he also inspected me when I first met him and then he went on his way. The female was a lot mushier and she kept giving me kisses. The only way I can describe these dogs is by stating how balanced they are. They are not dogs that will come out with agression to greet a stranger, but they also do not obsses over getting a attention. They are very indenpendent dogs, I even got to play tug of way with the male and he was very relaxed. He wasn't trying too hard and he was very respectful. The male is a puppy who still needs to fill out more but overall their size is just perfect, they aren't huge dogs that will loose agility, but they are not small dogs that will loose power. Their temperament just cmpletes these amaznig animals, great confidence without being arrogant or rude. God willing I will get a female of one of these dogs in 2013 :) :) :) I think I passed the breeders interview so they told me I am good to go to get one when I am ready. I brough my wife and my 4 month old son with us and the dogs were excellent with her and the baby, to make sure my wife and I are on the same page. You know the saying, "happy wife, happy life" lol so I just had to make sure she would love them as much as I do. The dogs were curious but they were extremely gentile and once they figured out we meant no harm they completely forgot me existed. Overall it was very nice experience and we had a great vibe from the dogs. Here are a few pics that I want to share with the board, I took many more but out of respect for the owner and breeder I will not be posting those until they get them. Here is the male puppy They move like cats Here is a crappy picture of me with the male and the female !

        • The dog's were imported to the US by a hunter out of Norway. He now resides in states and he is seeding out the dogs to the right people that will hunt the dogs. I have access to the two I posted and they are in NJ, but the hunter from Norway has 10 more and he has collaborated with good hunters to get really good dogs. I have to wait till 2013 because that's when they are going to breed the dogs that I have access to. I don't want to import a dog so it makes it easier. I am also planning to buy a home in the spring so I want to be settled in before I get the new big dog lol
          • They are interesting dogs. Your experience seems to mirror mine. While photographing them last summer. While taking a photo of the owners female. Once she realized I was ok. She painted my face with her tongue. Good luck getting your pup. Richard
            • Richard, I had a great feeling being around those dogs and I was extremely impressed with them. I can't wait for that time to come, I think they are a blast and I can't wait to have one.
              • They would be one of my picks also. If I had the space and time allocated for it. Richard
