Sage Koochee
I often wonder what the difference is between the Sage Koochee and the Central Asian Ovcharka (known by many other names). I started this topic for Koochedogs. :)

In my point of view the term Central Asian Shepherd is the oldest type of Mastiff dogs of central Asian region with different names including Central Asian Ovtcharka, Alabai, Tohmet, Sage Koochee, Sredniaziatskaya Ovcharka, Central Asiatic Ovcharka, Middle Asian Ovcharka, Mid-Asiatic Sheepdog. The Name s given to breed on the basis of region and culture. Their different features and appearance are different because of their origin.

Good - I thought they were all the same and just have regional differences due to climate, habitat, use, and breeding. There is probably some cross breeding also in the regions.
