Thanks guys. Gary technically the red one (ddb x apbt) is my dad's, but I spend a fair bit of time (about half) at his house. The bull arab pup is mine. -

He looks a bit like a bully kutta IMO. I say that with a bit of a smirk on my face because I've read so many times people arguing that no western dog looks like that so the bk MUST be a native ancient pakistani dog. Even complete with big intricate diagrams measuring head angulation and muzzle to skull ratios and etc. Comparing bks with bullmastiffs and ddbs and then shrugging like OJ simpson with the little glove when the comparisons didn't "fit". Lol. My stance always was - every second mutt comprised of western breeds looks a bit like a bk. Why compare it to deformed purebreeds when it's a performance bred mutt? Compare it with performance bred mutts of western origin, and it's clearly related. -

Thanks guys. Crnosrce1 Drathtaar as in pointer? (gotta admit I had to look that up, lol) I have seen people doing arab/pointer but this fella is pointery enough I reckon. He was actually literally pointing at things for a while as a young pup lol, I had to encourage him to chase. He's coming on good now and is keen to chase, but I still don't think I'd want a higher percentage of pointer than 25%, and probably less would be ideal. IF I was to cross him... possibly go sighthound (staghound) but probably go bully/staghound like these. Keep things along the same basic "bull/sighthound" lines, but that introduction of a little deerhound from the bullstag wouldn't go astray. They seem to offer a lot. Also I like the black and white colouring, which is dumb, and I wouldn't hold it as a priority if I was breeding for sure, but still... I live in queensland on the outskirts of brisbane. -

He'd fix a Dane strain or two, too. I'd like to see him over an EBT/Deerhound, myself. Provided he grows up to be worth a damn, obviously. He looks very nice right now, I don't think structural issues will decide his fate, as it were. More about how hard and talented he ends up being. But yeah, a nice EBTxS.Deerhound bitch would be my fantasy pick here. A big pure EBT momma shark would rock pretty hard with your boy too, speaking of eggheads. Mmmm... -

I'd cross him to an ebt, then cross the offspring to a neo (or neo/bm) to make a sick bandog (guardian and heavy hanger). To go purely the hunting route I'd be looking towards deerhounds, wolfhounds and etc. I could do both with him, but probably won't. I do dream of having those two strains- rough haired fast hunters, and guardy neo based bandogs. If I don't develop those strains, I'll instead aim to just have such dogs, usually in a duo. A racey sighthound/bull based dog, and a bull/mastiff based dog. -

WOW, he looks great! Still too young to say, but so far I really like his body structure and head. Everything is well proportioned. I hate to see when dog have a huge head attached to a little body, or a big body with little head. To be a great working/hunting dog, the proportions have to match. Hey, regarding putting him over a female, I stioll think my girl would be the best match...LOL Take care and thanks for posting the pics. -

"Dogs are very intelligent. They understand much more than men choose to give them credit for. Their pride is enormous, and through this feeling they are easily moved. Laughter, when directed against himself, no dog can endure, and the slightest reprimand is always answered by an immediate change of aspect. Rather than have their dignity offended,...
Breeding and genetic modification in dogs raise important ethical questions. Let’s look into some of these considerations:Responsible Breeding Prioritizes Welfare:Ethical breeders prioritize the health and well-being of animals over aesthetics. Breeding for extreme physical traits (like flat-faced dogs) can lead to serious health issues.Responsible...
My wife and I just recently (2 months ago) purchased a 62.5% boerboel, 12.5% kangal, 12.5% dogo argenino, 12.5% great Dane from Andrew Johnston of olympicdogs.net. He is currently 5 months old and 75 lbs as of yesterday before breakfast. He is best of friends with our 10 pound terrier and loves kids. Just wondering if there are any other owners of a...

Interesting photos. How does the Bullmastiff perform in the Brazilian heat? I have friends in Recife where it's 80s year round and very few Molossers survive there. I do know that some Brazilian Police like the Tropa de Elite take pride in their working Filas that look like giant bloodhounds that are used to hunt and sometimes kill fugitives in the jungle.
